What's hot? Apparently this review. Makes you wonder what everyone keeps talking about...
"Pros
I purchased this Sony strickly as a monitor for my XPS GEN 5 desk top, thought about the Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP 24-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor among others. But after comparing them to the Sony Bravia 26" KDL26M4000 720p LCD HDTV it was no contest, it's the perfect computer monitor. As far as the TV itself I have only a set of rabbit ear antena hooked to it and the picture is "OUTSTANDING" it will blow you away, there is a PIP function that allows me to surf the web and watch my local chanels if I choose to.
Cons
None
Additional Thoughts
I got the monitor I wanted but also an Excellent HDTV."
"After an electric storm it does not start. Does it hav a fuse or other protection?

"Of all small LCDs this is the best. Flat screen viewing angles are excellent. Home or biz use equally enjoyable. Setup menu easy to navigate with many choices for adding to home theater or biz environmentsResearched price & found J&R best. [...]"

"All I can say about it is WONDERFUL. My one and only complaint is that Sony did not include a HDMI cable. They should include the best on the market. Because I was clueless about it. I had it hooked up with regular DV cables because I had them. While the picture was great, it wasn't outstanding and when I called Sony and talked to a tech...she laughed at me because I didn't have a HDMI cable connecting to my box...and I'm like why is this a problem? Well, without it, there is no High Def connection at all. So all you are getting is regular digital grade television reception. So I went to Radio Shack and got one. But that was over a week later. Not all of us are techno savvy."
Pros:
"Solid offering from Sony. We have it connected via HDMI to a HD DVR from DirecTV. The picture is great. Also, connected to an antenna for OTA HD reception-ATCS tunner works well even with distant stations."

"Pros
We love this TV it has a great picture and my kids use it as their TV and their computer monitor. Both are hooked up to it. It has easy to access connections and a easy to use remote. Great TV but a little pricey,
Cons
The cost is definitely a con. You can buy a 26 inch TV at Wal-mart for $448. However it;s not a Sony."

"Great product at a reasonable price. Easy setup with a nice clear, crisp picture. Great product for bedroom or small room. Wall mounting may be a bit challenging though. Overall probably the best buy on the market for this size."
Pros:
"My wife and I use this TV as our primary TV; it is our first HDTV, replacing our older analog, CRT model. Set-up was complicated and daunting, requiring much time for a couple of days. The printed SONY connections diagrams (as well as the cable company diagrams) were confusing and mostly not helpful; the final solutions, as recommended by SONY's help desk, did not conform to those printed instructions that came in the box. [...] referred to SONY tech support, I received excellent answers to my questions and gained much understanding of what is involved to program and modify the set's operations. (We miss the days when one could simply turn on the TV set and watch!)We're not totally happy with the shiny plastic border's appearance, but other HDTVs all looked similar when we were shopping and comparing. We are not entirely happy that one must change the SONY remote's settings to watch a DVD; also, that different remotes must be used for the TV and for our cable reception (the cable remote literature claims it can control "universally," but how to do that is so far a mystery). But we do like the ability to listen on a headphone and not the speakers, so that our partner is not disturbed from reading in the living room. I am intrigued by the possibility of someday connecting my laptop to the HDTV for wide-screen computer viewing."
