Smooth Rolling & Bullet Proof.

"I got fed up with getting flats and/or losing fillings on poorly maintained roads, so I mounted a set of 28mm Armadillos on my road bike. I've since ridden about 1000 miles, including a 600 mile tour from SF to LA, without a flat! At 90 PSI, they roll easily but still smooth out the older back roads. I definitely trust them more than 120 PSI ultralights on a fast descent. Yes, they weigh a few ounces more......" Read Full Review »

Not impressed

"I really hoped these would work, especially after reading the glowing reviews. I live in a semi-rural area with abundant puncture vines (goatheads) along the roads, so flats are a real problem. I replaced both my tires with Armadillos, and while they've helped somewhat, they are far from the solution they claim to be. In less than 100 miles of riding, I've already had 2 flats, both from thorns that should hav..." Read Full Review »

"i'm a commuter. ride between 10 and 30 (road/bike path) miles per day, 3-5 days a week (avg is ~20 per day). needed replacements for some more "race-y" tires that wore out in < 600 miles and flatted out on me every 100 miles or so.

"I bought these for my rebuild single speed commuter bike. I ride the hell out of these wheels every day, 24 degree mornings don't faze them, 90 degree asphalt roads don't either. I'm the crazy guy on the roads that zips in and out of traffic, corners hard, throws caution to the wind and these tire …"  Read Full Review »

"These are wonderful tires. I am a 250lb rider and have ridden a set for 1,500 miles without a flat. On normal (non racing) tires, I would expect a flat every 6-800 miles. I am having to replace the front tire because I had no choice but to ride through a pile of broken glass. Lots of horrific lo …"  Read Full Review »

"I have a set of 700X23C "All Condition" on my Specialized Sequoia. My first year I logged over 2,000 miles on these tires with no problems. I recently completed a cross state road trip (CNC - Cycle North Carolina), 460 miles on rough rural roads with 1,280 other riders. Many flats were seen along th …"  Read Full Review »
