Sport-Fun Pogo Roo Pogo Stick Review
"My daughter is 8 and asked for a pogo stick. I was stuck because she was in-between the weights for the "baby" pogos who only support up to 60lbs and this one. The weight limit for this one is 75-150 lbs. My daughter only weighs about 68lbs. She can use it, but only after many days of practice. She is just heavy enough to make it bounce when she jumps, but she is also very strong willed and was determined to learn how to pogo. Someone somewhere needs to make a mid-range pogo stick for the ages between little kid and teenager. I would suggest if you have a child who weighs less than the suggested weight load, to hold off for a year or two until they are in the weight range. If my child wasn't so stubborn, this would've just collected dust in the garage."

"My son had asked for a "Power Pogo" stick he saw on TV that bounces over 6 ft off the ground! He is very athletic and active, but the age rec. for those was over 12 I believe. I convinced him to try a regular pogo stick first, and he is very happy with it. It took a few days for him to get his balance and bounce more than a few times, so it does take some perserverance and practice. I was afraid he might get discouraged and quit, but within a week he could bounce for several minutes. He loves to have us count the number of bounces..his current record is 97!"

"My 12 yr old daughter and 9 yr old son love this! They had wanted a pogo stick, which I found to be a hard item to find, especially not one overpriced! This toy is weight-rated for 70 to about 120lbs, so can last them a long time. My kids are having a great time with it. It does take practice, but so does bikes or skates! Great exercise too. I suggest wearing a helmet at least until they get the hang of it. My kids never fell off beyond hitting their feet though, so common sense and parent's supervision (at least at first) should keep it a safe toy."

"I'm reserving final judgement until my nephew learns to use the toy. I gave it to him for his 8th birthday, and none of the kids at the party were able to stay on. I think it will take some practice. I'm not sure how, but the pogo stick also cracked the first day. It might have been taking some abuse since there were 8 children at the party, but I was surprised a toy meant for jumping wasn't a bit more sturdy."

"Excellent quality, great value! This was hands-down the best Christmas present under the tree to all the kids. My 7-year-old son, whose present it was, thinks it's awesome. It's high-quality, too, tough enough for the bigger kids, who also love it. It's very well-made. My husband says it reminds him of his when he was a kid (long time ago!!). Highly recommended."
