The Original Pro V 1 Has Been Resuscitated
"Remember the original Pro V1's that could backspin their way up Mt. Everest? Yeah that's why so many of the Titleist Tour Team Insist that Titleist keep making special batches of the old model for them. Remember before TaylorMade and Callaway changed their Tour Level balls from 3 to 4 piece models? They did an O.K. job, but I'm still finding that the Bridgestone 330 s is the only 4 piece I enjoy. Disappointed
"Although ball performance is comparable to both Tour i and ProV1, the ball discolors even more quickly than a Titleist. I am used to getting 36-54 holes from a Tour i, but I am finding that the StarZ begins to discolor before I complete one round...." Read Full Review »

Lots of Spin
"I love to try different balls and the first round I played with these I was unimpressed until the 6th hole. I hit a wedge in to the middle of the green and spun back 15 feet to within inches of the cup. "Bought a dozen of these to try, going from PRO-V1's. All I can say is I will not be going back anytime soon to the PRO-V. "The Z star has good feel, putts well, and responds. Durability compares well to similar balls in the price range. But for the bottom line is, I 'd rather pay 5 bucks more and buy a dozen Prov1s. A good ball but falls short of a Titleist ProV, Callaway Tour, or B330 ball. "
