"8x22 Safari is the best product for the price. It is everything that I wanted in binoculars as compact as this and much more. I hesitated for a long time to buy binoculars because I never thought I'd have much need for it, would not get a clear picture or enough magnification without paying tons of money. Strained Eyes
"For some, I'm sure these binoculars would be fine, but for me they were awkward in build and to focus. There are thumb indentations for grip which do not correspond to the human hand. Placing them in front of the eyes is awkward and uncomfortable. The focus process produces unnecessary eye strain. By the time they're focused the subject has passed. "These little Steiners are perfect for your bowhunting vest, I got tired of strapping on my 10x42's. I got them for hunting in the woods. They are a real bargain at this price. The clarity is excellent, the size/weight in great, and they are well armored. "

"As a locomotive enginner I use binoculars to check switches and signals as far in advance of the train as possible , especially on long heavy trains. I prefer compact binoculars but need quality optics and these really fit the bill! "
