"I did not want to go overboard with the pricing for my ocasional hunting trips. I had a 8x30 Steiner for a while and loved it but wanted to upgrade a bit for hunting. I ordered a few others to compare but this Steiner is really lightweight and if you are looking in this lower end price range a good deal. Do not confuse this with the high end Seiners. "I bought these for hunting. I am not impressed with the image clarity; images are not crisp and seems to be hazy at the edge of the field of view. The Sports focus feature is difficult to use because the diopter focus bezels will not stay in place, so it is like to having to focus all the time; with the added difficulty if doing it one eye at a time.
