"I use this tripod with my Sony 2100 Digital camcorder. I like the ease of handling and lightweight. The spacer is very handy. It could be a little bit more stable, especially on very close up shots. Once I have zoomed in and set the knobs, it has a tendancy to move a little, which is irritating. Overall, a good piece of equipment at a great price...." Read Full Review »

"I agree with everything everybody says about it's price, sturdiness, height, etc. It was a great tripod, until it broke. It's not a professional product (or priced professionally) so just be aware that it might not be able to take the abuse some people throw at it. This is actually the 3rd product I've had from ToCAD (Sunpak) that has broken on me...." Read Full Review »

"Clearly a best buy! 5 star value for the money.
4 stars when compared with $1000 Gitzos.
I have been a pro landscape shooter for over 30 years and this may be my favorite ever tripod. The flip-lock legs are extremely quick and easy to use - best ever.
This tripod is not the most rigid that I

"It is heavy. Yes. But I sometimes take photos standing in rushing creek waters and at beaches as the tide comes in. I need something heavy to stay put against moving water so the 6.2 pounds of this tripod does the trick.
Unfortunately, within the first few months, the pan handle snapped off. My

Unfortunately, the gift tripod did not have smooth action - the tilt head had to be muscled to move. The folks at B&H came through, …" Read Full Review »
