My new golf ball of choice

"I used to be of the opinion that most high end balls were essentially the same. Pro-v1s, Callaway HX Tour, Bridgestone B330S, Nike One, etc. They all perform very well in terms of distance, spin and feel. But I usually scuff them up so badly that they are barely playable after 9 holes. I had been playing Bridgestones, mainly because I got a great deal last year @ $25 a dozen, but I'm down to my last dozen, so I ..." Read Full Review »

OK...but not my first choice

"I like to play with premium balls even though I am not that great of a golfer (mid 90s). Nothing beats that feeling when you hit that wedge perfectly and the ball stops immediately or draws back. I have used the Hogan then Callaway Tour 56 for about 3 years now. Switched to Taylormade Black primarily because of the price (great sale price). Of course the reputation and reviews played a part too.. However, I have..." Read Full Review »

Solid performance ball

"The TP Red is a great ball for the mid to low handicap golfer. Ideally you want to be a lower trajectory hitter forcing a lot of spin into your shots to get the most out of this ball.

Having played a two ball practice round with both the TP Red and TP Black for a direct comparison I found that while …"  Read Full Review »

Replacing my ProV1's

★★★★★
5.0

"While I have only played 2 rounds with these, I love em. I have always played ProV1's or ProV1x's, and have been searching for a replacement because the ProV's are so expensive and tear up so easily. I tried all the Calloway's and did not like the feel of any. These have a very similar feel to the P …"  Read Full Review »

Not up to snuff

★★★☆☆

"I bought these balls on the sale price to try them out. I initially liked them, but as I played with them more I saw certain flaws. They are definitely the least durable out of all the tour balls. Little chips scuff the cover and full wedge shots leave about 10 dimples of scuff and even sometimes ri …"  Read Full Review »
