Great bike, but...

"This bike is great for a kid that wants to ride around the neighborhood but it just isn't made for taking on singletrack. It is far too heavy and with the lack of gears even slight grades become too much for kids sized to this bike. I'm going to be picking up an MT 60 with the 6 spd cassette so that my son's riding will be more enjoyable with less dismounting and more riding...." Read Full Review »

Too quickly outgrown

"We have this bike in 12", 16" and 20" and the problem is the same with the 16 and 20...the chain ring is so small that our kids can't pedal fast enough to keep up on the bike path with their friends who have [...]bikes. The bikes are high quality but become useless pretty fast if you have boys who want to get on with it...." Read Full Review »
