"There MAY be great things about it, but when as much juice ends up around the outside of the juicer as in the juice catcher, the clean-up problems far out way any positives...." Read Full Review

"When I was searching for a juicer I read every review I could. I was a little put off when i would read things like "didn't juice the entire fruit", "left too much pulp", or"messy". I thought I would try and purchase a more expensive Breville juicer to ensure all the fruit was juiced. But I am so glad I got this one! It is still a good size appliance, and I wouldn't want a larger model, and I found that everything the manufacturer promised was true. I think it juices the entire piece of fruit very well,it is super fast, we get a lot of juice and I especially LOVE the easy cleanup! If it wasn't easy to clean it would gather dust since I hate the clean up--but this is amazingly easy and fast! And of COURSE there is a lot of pulp at the end! What else would you expect when juicing a whole apple? But you can use it in cooking or compost it or just get rid of it--it might seem a waste but I wouldn't be eating so many fuits and vegies if I had to eat them all whole all day and I feel healthier already! I love this juicer and am so happy I purchased it! [...]"

"This was my first juicer purchase. I researched for a long time before getting this one and it is the perfect fit! Other than it being a little noisy, it cleans so quick and easy and it really pulls the juice from your veggies and fruits. Absolutely satisfied!"

"I read numerous reviews about juicers in all price ranges. I kept coming back to this one because of the mid-range price and reputation of Breville. I've been using it daily for one week for everything from tomatoes to kale to sweet potatoes and all types of fruits. Simply put, it works great. You will get some froth with pineapple and tomatoes. Clean up is a breeze and the brush does work great on the blade insert. I've been using the left over pulp in veggie quiches. The fruit pulp can be put into smoothies as a thickener. I still use my magic bullet for the smoothies. This Breville unit only has one speed-very powerful, but really not that noisy. I've found that pushing juicer items through slowly helps to maximize the juice output. I also bought a book at Barnes and Noble "Juicing for Idiots" which has a lot of good recipes and suggestions. There are also plenty of online resources available."

"The juicer is great for the price. I would suggest that anyone in the market for one, to do their research on this style vs. the single gear/masticating juicer. I do hear that while messy they are better for you. I unfortunately didn't do this until after. That being said, this brand is great esp. for the price. There are 2 cons I noticed so far. One, the pulp is still pretty moist I've noticed esp. the more full it becomes before you clean it out. Second, the strainer that must be cleaned after every use is time consuming. The brush that comes with the machine does make this easier, but it still takes a while to get all the bits of pulp off. The parts are plastic (except strainer) and dishwasher safe, though I haven't tried this since I use mine just about everyday.Set up is very easy."

"I bought this juicer after reading the favorable reviews from this website. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I am recommending it. This juicer is powerful and fast. This juicers 3 inch feeder tube fits most fruit whole or halved. The drawbacks are:
1) Cleaning this product takes at least 10 minutes, there are 4-5 big plastic pieces and a blade/screen piece to clean. I cut my hand on the blade/screen piece cleaning it with a sponge, so please use the black blade cleaning brush the product comes with.
2) Everyone in my house hears me juicing when this thing is on, it is about the same sound as a shop-vac.
3) Juicing with this product can be messy with small things like blueberries, grapes, strawberries etc. once you drop them into the juicer there is not enough time to get the presser downer piece in before you get some fruit blow-back up towards your hands/clothes.
4) It takes an awful lot of fruit to make a small amount of juice. 4-5 apples for a one person glass.
I have been making an organic fruit drink in the morning and a veggie green-drink in the afternoon most days since buying the juicer, and I feel healthy, The product has performed well thus far. If you are considering buying a juicer I would recommend it because most purchased juices are pasteurized, and this heating process kills the enzymes and probiotics, which help the body take in natural vitamins and minerals. Please try and drink your fresh juice within a half-hour for maximum benefit, and have fun and be creative with your mixtures!"
"It is great as the other larger Breville models. It does much beter with fruits and vegetables. It extracts leaffy greens OK, but not great if too leafy. The more water content the better for the green's extraction. I use it daily and I am very pleased."
Pros:
"I found the juicer to be compact, quiet and very easy to clean. Overall, it does a good job. I have only used the juicer for grapes, apples, plums and pineapple so far. It didn't work too well for me with pineapple because there wasn't a lot of juice produced and a lot of soft pulp remained. Hint: I put grapes into the feeder tube and insert the food pusher before I turn on the motor in order to prevent the cutter from throwing particles from the tube."
Pros:
Cons:
"I use it daily for juicing veggies and fruits.
I love the large chute it makes it easy to put larger items without having to constantly cut. The powerful motor juices effortlessly, leaving the pulp very dry and produces large quantities of juice. The juice cup that comes with the machine is large and specially designed to fit tightly under the juice spout to prevent leakage and spills. I can't say anything bad about the Breville, it's even easy to clean!"
Pros:
"This juicer is amazing! I don't know how I lived without it. We used to throw away tons of fruits and vegetables every week. Not anymore. Now, before they pass their prime, we juice them. We are enjoying some of the healthiest food we've ever eaten. This juicer is a little on the loud side, but truly, it has to be because of the power it puts out. Buy it, you won't be sorry![...]"
