"glove concept works great, keeps out debris. dries fast, so lightweight, minimal chafing. durable enough to wear in ultra races without being weighed down. my primary shoe for 50k and 50 mile trail runs, light enough to use at shorter distances too. my only initial hangup was the covered laces didn't let me use gaiters (which most people don't use), but I've fixed that by inserting a safety pin near the toe,..." "This shoe is pretty light weight. it fits my foot like a glove, but don't buy it if you don't want to fall and twist your ankle! This shoe has aggressive traction so it is good for dirt and gravel, but not for rock hopping across streams or for wet conditions. There is aggressive traction and then there is grip, and these shoes lack grip big time. I hiked the Presidential mountains in these. At the time the..." Read Full Review »

"This is probably the best trail shoe I've ever run in. It is very light weight and feels snug on the foot without being too tight. The tread is aggressive and can handle very technical terrain. I was surprised at how comfortable and natural they felt on my feet. I've even been running in them wit …" Read Full Review »

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe Review
"Good shoes overall -- I agree with other comments citing the stiff feel -- but I should note that there doesnt seem to be a way to replace the laces. The laces are so protected that I cant see how to access the lower loops. This hasnt been a problem so far -- and I suppose the thinking is that by pr …" Read Full Review »

"I must admit, I'm not a runner. Until recently I was torturing myself by wearing Converse and such, and my feet were really beginning to feel it, so I decided to make a change. After going to a few shoe stores and trying on a half dozen different running shoes, I discovered that for my purposes pr …" Read Full Review »
