When you're prone to mix it up a bit during an all-weather run, the Salomon XA Comp 3 GTX Trail Running Shoe for men presents the classic adventure running shoe in a weatherproof version. Its synthetic leather and nylon mesh upper that is water-resistant, durable and lightweight, is lined in a GORE-TEX waterproof sock construction which lets the feet breathe while protecting them from a host of adverse environments. Wrapped in supportive and comfortable Sensifit synthetic overlays and enhanced with an asymmetrical Quickfit one pull lacing system ensures a precise, secure performance fit. Upon coming to a fast paced downhill, protective toe caps that resist abrasion to the upper keeps the toes safe from inevitable toe stubs and bumps. As your dogs heat up an OrthoLite sockliner works to keep them cushioned, cooler, drier, healthier, and happy. A comfortable Dual-density EVA midsole absorbs shock and resists pronation, while a 2D Chassis Technology™ nylon plate underfoot provides balanced flex-support-responsiveness and excellent push-through protection. A temperature sensitive Contagrip rubber outsole delivers outstanding traction over mixed terrain until you finally put the brakes on.

Amazing!

"I use these boots for everything! Hiking, walking, riding my quad, on the motorcycle. The only time my feet have been wet in these shoes is when snow came up and over the top (my bad)... Don't give up on these boots when the lace up system starts to fray, it happens to everyone. My suggestion, by two pair just in case they ever stop making them :)..." Read Full Review »

NOT FOR EVERYONE, NOT FOR ME AT ALL

"Had and wore this shoe for about a week, cause that was about as much as I could stand to be in them. The Quick Pull Lacing system along with the total lack of any cushioning on the tongue made for consistent and extremely annoying pressure points on the top of my foot.
