"I debated buying the non-waterproof version of these and finally settled on the Gore-Tex. I went for a hike at Red Rocks and then hiked up S Boulder Peak...only had the shoes for a few days. The shoes held up great climbing and hiking through the snow. I was out for about 3 hours and my feet stayed dry. Not a Fan of the Quickfit™ Lacing System

"At first I thought this shoe was OK...gave it a good rating. The biggest problem I have is with the lacing system. There is simply no way to get the shoe tight around the ankle without also making the shoe incredibly tight around the top of the foot.
