"Great shoe. Can really feel the ground under your feet. My only problem is that I listened to the recommendations and got a half size larger than what I usually get. I'd say stick with your normal size. I notice they really eat up my heel by scraping it every step I take, which may be solely due to the size being too large, but still wearable. I liked them too much I didn't feel like returning them for a size sm..." Read Full Review

"Not a bad shoe, but had trouble with the heel - While this may be a great shoe, it wasn't a good fit for me. I went for a run and the top of the back of the right shoe ended up rubbing against my Achilles tendon, which I became numb to after the first mile. Unfortunately, at the end of the run I discovered it was worse than I realized and blood soaked through the shoe. I haven't been able to run for 2 weeks now ..." Read Full Review
"I wish every company had the customer service, class, dedication, quality, selection, timeliness, affordability, and style of Zappos. Zappos is the pinnacle of what any business should be. Don't get me wrong; I still browse shoe stores at the mall, but that's just so I never forget how great Zappos is. I bought these Kilkennys in white/yellow for athletics, but when I tried them on, they looked so good that I'll probably end up wearing them downtown. The yellow-gold is just eye-catching enough to draw a bit of attention on the track, but the understated and predominant white and black (these came with an extra set of black laces, unlike my Jazz) coloring shows that I bought these for an actual purpose, not just for looks. These Sauconys feel much more snug than the pair of Jazz I have in the same size, but that's exactly how it should be with a flat. The last pair of flats I had worn were Asics, which were excellent, but didn't hold up for long. These Kilkenny's look quite solid and they won't soak my socks if I have to cut through a wet surface. There isn't much cushioning (also exactly how it should be with a flat), but what cushion is present is evenly distributed, giving these more stability than I expected with a flat. This is definitely preferable to the Jazz, which has excessive cushioning at the heel and very little cushioning at the ball leading into the toe."
"Great shoes! I love flats b/c it's like running barefoot. Very lightweight shoes...perfect for me. Please do be aware that they run smaller than sneakers usually do. I'm normally an 8.5, but after reading everyone else s reviews telling of how small they run, I chose a size 10 and that worked for me. Normally I wear Salomons or New Balance & I get them in a 9.5 as they're a full size smaller. I prefer extra room in the toe area as your foot expands when you run & I'm very sensitive about my toe touching the end of the shoe. I absolutely cannot run in a shoe like that. For this shoe I'd recommend at least a size and a half up. I say at least, but since they're flats they typically are narrower than regular sneakers, but flats are supposed to be this way as they're supposed to hug your foot."
"Good running shoe - First of all: ZAPPOS ... AMAZING!!! Bought a few pairs of shoes from here and every time the customer service is impeccable. Last winter I bought a pair of boots for my wife that she wore for a few months before holes developed in them. Emailed Zappos and they said the shoes didn't live up to the quality they expect so they refunded us. With these Sauconys, they upgraded my shipping from 2-3 day to overnight air free of charge. Only at Zappos! Anyway, these shoes are very nice. Great support and the traction is superb! They put "spring" into my step and make jogging easier on my knees. They did fit a little tight lengthwise, so I'd recommend buying a half size bigger than you are used to (at least if you wear socks with your running shoes). Pleased overall."
I haven't been able to run for 2 weeks now as I've been wearing flip flops trying to get the back of my foot to heal. I'm not warning against purchasing... it may be an issue specific to my foot. Just be careful if you do find the shoe to be rubbing against the Achilles tendon!"
"Ok, this is a terrific off-road running shoe. It s very light weight, very flexible, yet durable and gives a great 'feel' for the trail without giving up protection. Kind of an off-road racing flat. However, it is also very small. If you have wide feet, your toes are going to feel cramped unless you get a wider size than you normally would. I normally run with socks on (odd-ball, I know), and ended up having to get a full half size larger than my normal shoe size and probably could have gone up a full size without difficulty. So, other than the size issue, I highly recommend this shoe for anyone looking for a light, flexible, minimalist shoe."
"Cute and Comfortable - I like these shoes a lot. I haven't run in them yet, but they feel good on my feet. They do run small. I usually wear an 8.5 in street shoes and get 9 or 9.5 in running shoes. I bought the 10's and they work for me. They are very narrow. I find it kind of narrow in the forefoot, but with thin socks it's okay. I don't have particularly wide feet so be warned. They are really cute, I love the deep red. I'm happy with these. I really appreciated the quick shipping by Zappos! I ordered these on Saturday and they were here by Monday. Simply AMAZING!!"
"A great shoe for the health of your foot - There's a body of evidence supporting a shoe with less cushioning, the theory being that if there's too much "support" the muscles in the foot become weak. Less support - producing a more natural, more conditioned arch and metatarsal. This shoe is excellent for that, featherweight, and also runs a bit narrow, which is a boon for a narrow foot like mine. Love it!! Immediately cut my time and added distance to my runs. Joyful!"
"Can only find these online. I was hesitant to buy as I read sizing is different than normal shoes. Zappos great return policy made me feel at ease in buying my first shoes on-line. The styling of these shoes is terrific. They look great! Very light shoe that is also super comfortable. Might be a little tight if you have wide feet. Mine are slim to average. I normally wear an 11 in dress, every day type shoes. I purchased a 12 in these and they fit perfect."
"Different, but good fit - I typically wear a size 6 in running shoes, but these sneakers run very small. I ended up with a size 8, but they are great and super light. It almost feels as if you aren't wearing sneakers. Not much arch support, but I use fitted inserts, so they work perfect. And Zappos was GREAT to work with. Thank you for your patience and great customer service while trying to get the correct size."

I wear these to mimic barefoot running since they'll very minimalistic and have good traction for dirt. You can run on roads but they're really meant for cross country."
