"I have used one pair on over a dozen trips and they are still good as new. I backpack in the Summer in the Sierras above treeline sometimes 10-12 miles a day and 2000' elevation gain. These are my must-wear sock for the climbs - never a hint of a blister. I have tried other socks - 3-4 different kinds but these Smart wool socks are the best so far. So I just bought more. "I ordered uniform socks along with this order. Uniform socks were a great buy and a quality item. I bought Smart wool before and liked the items. Not so the hiking socks. Both pairs of the hiking socks had a running flaw at ankle. The socks were much thinner and less cushioning than the uniform socks by Smart wool. Buy the Uniform socks.
