"I lucked up on finding these. As a registered nurse, I endorse these thermometers. They are easy to use, accurate, and cry free. Just think, no more having to wake up your child in the middle of the night to stick a probe somewhere and irritate them to no end. The last time I used the Vicks thermometers, I took a bottom temp on my infant to see how accurate this product could be. I was amazed. I love these thermometers. I even bathed my child with the thermometer applied under the arm and had no problems afterwards. The best thing about these thermometers is that the reading is instant and continuous. How about that!"
Pros:
"These are fabulous. In reference to the person who said they didn't last ... they are a one time use thermometer (qty 6 per pack) that is accurate for 48 hours. I had one on my son when I took him to the doctor and it was the exact same reading as they took. Be sure to stick once your child's arm is down so the skin isn't stretched ... they never know it's there and you can look every minute if you are trying to bring down a high fever. I always have some on hand."
Pros:
"My son had frequesnt ear infections. And trying to get an accurate temperature reading from him was all but impossible.
I found these one day at Walgreens and haven't had a problem since. The acuraccy amazed me and he doesn't even realize it's there. I wish I'd though of this idea!"
Pros:
"I LOVE THESE THREMEMTORS. I HAVE BOUGH ALL KINDS OF THERMOMETERS AND THEY ALL DON'T WORK THESE HAVE BEEN THE ONLY ACCUATE AND EASY WAY TO READ MY CHILDRENS TEMPATURE!!!!!!!! [...]"
Pros:
"These are fabulous. I was given some of these when I had my second child. He is now 5 and I still use them. Children are always sick at night time and it is so much easier to just sneak a peak than taking the chance of waking them up to take their temp."
Pros:
"These make taking your baby/toddler's temp. so much easier! It also was very accurate. I would definitely recommend this."
Pros:
"I bought one and went bad in 2 weeks. Bought another same thing. TRASH!"
"These are disposable thermometers, so they should only be accurate for 2 days. No wonder it wasn't working 2 weeks later....They are supposed to be placed under the child's arm for 48 hours max and then thrown away. They can NOT be reused."

"I just bought some of these tonight. I put one on my nearly 2 year old, and within 1 minute he was over it and forgot it was there.
All day I had been struggling with him to keep still so I could take his temperature with my forehead scanning thermometer. I even thought about going and buying the 1 second ear thermometer. Instead for a great price, I found these. After I put this on, all I had to do was lift up his shirt and take a peek under his arm. It made monitoring his temperature so much easier.
Different than most of the other reviews, I think with my son being older, while he is asleep it will be easier to use my regular scan thermometer on him; rather than lifting his shirt and arm up after turning on a light to look at this.
But for the daytime this thing makes repetitively checking your child's temperature so easy. Instead of just touching the forehead and wondering if their temp is going down or not, just peek under their arm and see the exact temp. It also can stay on for 48 hours. I checked its accuracy by taking my son's temp with our main thermometer, and it was right. I also watched his temp steadily go down on this after his fever broke. I think everyone should have some of these in their medicine cabinet or diaper bag."
