"It's a water filter...it filters water. Just like it's supposed to. If you buying it, you don't have a choice. You have to get this one if its the one that fits in your viking fridge. Abt has the best price based on my research and they were great to work with. "

"This is the only filter I they make for my viking fridge, so I don't have a choice, but it really seems to filter nicely. If I drink my tap water (NY city water) I can taste chlorine. I can't taste the chlorine when I drink it from the fridge. I gave it 4 stars because it's so expensive. "
