"This is a no brainer appliance just read the guide for first time use. It is well constructed. Cooks evenly and fast. A audible beep sounds when waffle is ready. We use a malted belgian waffle mix, this makes a good waffle great. We have had this for about a year and with no problems. I feel the Waring Belgian Waffle Maker is the best bang for your buck. Good idea, but have had two broken
"I bought my first one, and it worked great for two months. It broke, so I exchanged it, figuring I just got a faulty waffle maker. Well, three months later, the second one broke, with the same problem as the first - broken switch, so we get no heat. "The waffles produced by this waffle maker are equivelant to those made by my dear departed WMK-300 (no "A") machine. The only complaint with the earlier machine is that it died a little over a year after purchased. It could have been fixed by replacing the fuse, but my wife wanted a new machine. "

"What I like about this waffle maker is the super easy clean up. I use Pam cooking spray before each waffle and absolutely nothing sticks to it. Even if I put too much batter in and some spills over. I just let it cook and it all comes up when I pull out the waffle.
