This shoe has a waterproof (seam-sealed) nubuck leather upper and a soft padded leather collar with a fully gusseted tongue. It is made with rustproof brass hardware and it has women's specific last for a superior fit. It is also board lasted with a steel shank for added rigidity and it has a lightweight compression-molded EVA midsole. These boots also feature a durable carbon rubber outsole and a comfort-tec removable sockliner.

"I like the foot bed very much as it is comfortable and gives me the support I need. I have severe spine problems and a shoe/boot type foot bed seems to give me more support and I can walk a bit more and I am more stable.
