"My mother uses this product. She's 90 yrs young and has skin that is youthful, supple, and without wrinkles. We attribute this to her use of Ponds Dry Skin Cream. Everyone comments on it because it's true. I wish I could send a picture of her up here. This is a traditional skin product that works better than all the new expensive rip-offs!..." "I bought this about three weeks ago because I ran out of my Clinique daily moisturizer and wanted to look for something better and possibly cheaper. I have very dry skin and eczema on my cheeks, while I have frequent breakouts on my temples and occasionally on my forehead or nose; I have a very hard time looking for a product that deeply moisturizes without causing breakouts. After using this product every day..." Read Full Review »

"I have tried everything under the sun as a moisturizer for my "extrememly sensitive, acne prone" skin. As a Michigan resident, I find this cream to be my savior during the harsh winter months. It relieves my dry skin and leaves it feeling baby soft. (For the summer months, I have found that Juice Organics brightening moisturizer works wonders for me). I use the Pond's cream after washing my face with Dove beauty bar. No harsh products, no acne creams and no derm appointments needed, so I swear by the Dove Beauty bar in conjuction with the Pond's cream during the cold months. This was a recommendation to my sister and I from our Mother who, along with our Grandmother, has used forever."

"I bought this about three weeks ago because I ran out of my Clinique daily moisturizer and wanted to look for something better and possibly cheaper.
I have very dry skin and eczema on my cheeks, while I have frequent breakouts on my temples and occasionally on my forehead or nose; I have a very hard time looking for a product that deeply moisturizes without causing breakouts.
After using this product every day for a little more than 3 weeks, I've found that it is much better as a night cream. When I put it on at night, I wake up with radiant, soft skin.
However, once I wash my face in the morning and try to reapply it, it doesn't make my face look as great as it did when I woke up. Also, under makeup - I usually just wear Bear Minerals mineral veil because I'm a teen and I don't want to wear too much at school - it doesn't look right. Especially with the powder, I've found that it makes my skin look more uneven.
As for acne, it did help the acne on my temples heal faster. However, it hasn't helped fade acne scars from what I've seen, and I started to get an occasional minor pimple in other areas of my face where I don't usually break out.
If you have combination skin in the extreme like I do, just use this as a night cream. The tub is HUGE and it will last forever, so I will keep it unless I find something better.
I'll keep on the lookout."

Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz Review

"For the price, I found this to be a good product. My preference is MD Forte moisturizer but in this economy I was hesitant to spend the money so I tried Ponds. It's a good moisturizer; my sometimes sensitive skin absorbed it easily, and had no adverse reactions. I will, however, go back to the MD product because I do believe that you get what you pay for. For my skin type there is less buildup in my pores, and I use less of the MD product than the Ponds to cover my face and neck. Also, the Ponds is too fragrant for me."

"I've always loved Ponds cold cream. I normally can't stand scented products, but this one has such a pleasant scent. And it's gentle and non-irritating to my sensitive skin. Best use is at night for me, but now that my skin is drier (age), I sometimes use it in the morning under make-up. It's also great for cleaning off that last bit of mascara that never seems to come off with cleansers."
