"I buy a new pair of these boots ever year. They keep my feet warm and dry in rain and snow. I work retail on my feet, have walked all day and my feet never get tired. "A few years ago I purchased a pair of Sporto boots that while not terribly attractive, were super comfortable. I decided to try another pair of the same brand since I've been battling a sore back and need comfort.When I happened upon these, though, I thought, hmmm, they look really nice! So, I bought them, and I LOVE THEM. They are super comfortable, warm and waterproof. Okay, so they look good and they feel great, but here's the very best part. This past weekend my husband and I went to look at property on a lake. It was rainy and muddy. Really, really muddy. That thick, sticky red clay mud. And of course, I had on my Sporto boots. I panicked thinking that the boots I love so much, and have only had for a few weeks would be completely ruined. But no! After washing them up with nothing but H2O they look just like new. I can't believe it. Plus, they kept my feet completely dry and toasty all day, including when the snow began to fall. I've worn them walking around NYC, hopping trains, subways and even when traveling on a plane. They zip on and off easily for the security check-point and are supremely comfortable, I couldn't be happier. Wears this shoe: As often as possible!"

"I bought these boots because I wanted something waterproof that was also attractive. I was nervous that they wouldn't live up to my expectations, but they did, and then some. I would definitely recommend ordering your usual size. As for looks, the pictures don't do it justice; the fur lining sticks up just far enough above the edge of the boot to be really attractive, without being overpowering. The stitching is adorable, and the shape is very clean without being clunky. The comfort level is good, too, I didn't have to break these in. No weird pinching or rubbing or anything like that. They don't leak, despite the side zippers, though I haven't tried jumping directly into a puddle. I haven't slipped on the ice in these yet, and I've been wearing them for the last two weeks solid through a couple of blizzards. I would highly recommend these, and Sporto in general. Wears this shoe: When it's cold and wet. Which, out here, is a good eight months of the year."

"I walk about five miles each day in Ohio. Our winters our cold and snowy and our roads/sidewalks are brick in lots of places. I needed something that would keep me from slipping, but also something that I could wear in the clinic office where I work. These are definitely cute enough to wear with slacks/trousers and have the best traction of any shoe I have ever owned or tried on. The only things is that they are not very warm at all which is a HUGE let down. I'm going to buy some ToastyFeet insoles because it feels like I'm walking directly on ice sometimes. Even when wearing two pairs of thick wool socks! I cannot exchange these because I have already worn them but I am so very disappointed. I would even settle for larger size so that I can wear more socks because the traction is that good. Wears this shoe: Snow, ice, work"

"I got the previous model of these from Sporto a couple years ago and wore them until they had split on the sides. I really liked the style and was glad to see they had released a very similar boot this year. These are great! Enough of a heel your jeans aren't all too long when you wear them, very stylish, not clunky. And they're waterproof! I love the fur around the edge, because that's where I always get raw skin with other boots. The only thing I'd change is making them a little warmer. They're great for wet weather, but not the warmest for freezing weather. Still, this is a staple in my winter wardrobe. Wears this shoe: winter, raining or snow on the ground"

"There was a big storm coming last week, so I was frantically trying to find a place that would deliver overnight. I ordered these literally about 5 minutes before 4 pm, the cut off time for overnight, and I got them the next day around 10am at the latest! I never knew productexpress existed. I was a little worried these would be a little ugly, but they look just fine under pants/jeans. I'm not one to really tuck my pants into boots anyway. It snowed 2 feet, and I have been walking everywhere the last few days in these, and they are extremely comfy, waterproof, and have great traction. I am so glad I got these. "I ordered the Sporto Maggie boots in brown for my daughter and she loves them! We both have a somewhat wide foot-in Sporto boots-can go up 1/2 size on a med. width and that works fine. We both find Sporto boots very comfortable, warm, attractive, and all at a very good price! This particular style is quite plain, but it still looks good on the foot-makes them look more slender somehow! Also, these boots arrived very quickly! "I bought these boots for a trip to the mountains. I wore them all day in the rain/sleet and lots of walking. They kept my feet dry and warm all day. They did not hurt my feet at all! I was surprised since they seemed a little stiff in the ankle, but they turned out to be very comfortable! I read the other reviews before I bought them, and I do agree they fit narrow feet and ankles well. They are not too tight, and they did not slip on the heel like most do on my feet. "The Sporto Maggie boot is a trendy little number that looks nice with jeans and skirts. It's comfortable enough to wear all day, if need be, and performs well in wet or snowy condition. As far as ice...well, get some skates. The boots do not keep my feet as warm as other Sporto boots have, nor do they allow much room for thicker socks, so you may want order a half size larger than your actual size. The price was great, and these boots seem like they can put up with a few years of action. Wears this shoe: 3-4 x per week"

"I already owned a pair of these boots and wore them without breaking them in for an entire weekend walking around New York City and they were so comfortable and still are. They have small but excellent tread. They stay dry and are warm and I get many compliments on them from coworkers and friends. These boots wipe off and clean up well.
