Just what I expected
"This is a great rack. It's a different construction than the other bike racks I used in the past as it just has one pivot point and the bottom and side straps are actually just two straps that run from the bottom of the truck lid, through the rack, and then to the side of the trunk lid. bad purchase :(
"this rack was a huge disappointment. first of all, the velcro straps are hardly reliable. they weather easily in the rain and wind, and don't provide a secure hold on the bike. also, two of the rubber pieces that hold the velcro have snapped from the pressure of securing the straps tightly. another problem is that when i ride on the highway, my bike flaps in the wind. if i have a passenger, i usually have to the..." "A great overall rack that installed in less than 20 minutes. Its very solidly built and fits well on the trunk of my car. The only minor problem is that the sides of my car trunk are not completely vertical. They come down at angle and so the side straps tend slide down over time. "

"I've owned/borrowed several examples of this type of rack, and this is the best. It sets up easily, and thanks to the seat tube clamp, the bike is literally immovable.
