"This unit can really cool a small-medium room. But it's loud. Really loud. Comically loud. I bought the unit so I didn't have to keep my windows open because I live one block from train tracks. It's way louder than the train, as well as my neighbors' dogs. But since it's a constant noise rather than occasional, I can tune it out. Still, it's silly loud. Laughably Loud for Nothing!
"Although it is priced nicely for an air conditioner, it really doesn't get the job done very well. The temperature control feature is a joke - I keep the unit "set" at 70 degrees, but the actual temperature in the room varies widely. The unit does come with a remote, which is unfortunately necessary to manually adjust the temperature yourself throughout the day. Even with all these setbacks, the main issue is t..."
